Butchart Gardens has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada and receives more than a million visitors every year.

The gardens are over 100 years old and constantly changing with the seasons. There are 55 acres to explore – you can’t possibly see everything in one visit.

You will find delightful statuary, water features, tea gardens, rose gardens, Japanese and English gardens and a marvellous collection of trees and shrubs.

Butchart Gardens boasts over 900 different varieties of plants.

Butchart Gardens is located in the Brentwood Bay area of Victoria on Vancouver Island. There is a concert series every summer and a fire works display.

Each winter, Butchart Gardens has an impressive light display for the holiday season.
