For Bird Lovers

Most people travel with a companion. Mine is a bird lover. Meet Colin Rankin, photographer.

I must admit that Colin’s interest in ornithology is starting to rub off on me. He has captured some amazing birds with his camera. So, I decided to create a “blog within a blog”. Not only will you learn about our travels but you will get to see our very best bird photos.

For those of you into birding, most of these photos were taken with a NIKON Cool Pix. The photos below are from our 2015 African safari in Kenya. Colin’s more recent blog posts have pics taken with his Fuji XT-3. You will see the natural progression of his skill a bird photographer!
